Inspired by life...Addison Baker

After 25 years, since the beginning of sixth grade, Addison was encouraged by teachers to write.  His influence spanned over time with nature and his concern for the ever-changing environment.  Playing as a kid in meadows, lakes and fields to riding horses, fishing, and animal watching increased his expression in writing.  Never would he imagine that one day he would be teaching in a special needs language arts classroom and challenged by one of the students saying, “Show us some of your writing…if you want us to write!”  It was then that Addison reflected on his childhood writings, The Animals Next Door.  With perseverance and time, "The Animals Next Door" have become a creative delight for children and parents everywhere.  It is his dream and joy to share them with you!
